"I don't divide architecture, landscaping, and gardening; to me they are one."

Background

The Board of Trustees at the John Paul II Center and the Catholic University of America are interested in developing an Inter-cultural Center for the Exploration of Faith that will bring 50 scholars for a six to nine months stay to live on-site, conduct research, and advance the importance of faith and reason in human affairs. At certain times of the year, the Inter-cultural Center may also serve as a venue for Special Events related to the John Paul II Center as a pilgrimage destination to honor Pope John Paul II. The idea for an Inter-cultural Center envisioned in our program was inspired by the wishes of Pope Benedict XVI early in his Pontificate as one of the ways to advance peace and understanding among all nations in our troubled world.
